Who is the product for?The application with the micro-learning is meant for people and teams that work in a high-risk industry, or that work in situations with increased risk to personal harm. What does the product do?The overarching application facilitates the micro-learning modules. The application holds all the micro-learning activities and links these to the backend data (LMS).The micro-learning modules themselves educate the user in an engaging manner on four domains; awareness, knowledge, routines, and behaviour. When will the product be used?The product is used during short intermissions in work. This could, f.e., be in the canteen during lunch, or in transit between sites or jobs. The application can also be used during non-work hours or during planned training interventions within a company or sector.Where will the product be used?Depending on when the product will be used it might be used in a canteen, at a worksite, in transit, or at home.Why is this product part of the Active Safety?The micro-learning modules are part of Active Safety to provide small bites of info and learning on the four domains. The app around it is there to connect and present all the modules in a gamified manner. But also to give an insight to users on how they and their colleagues are performing. Beside this it is also an assessment tool which estimates in which regard a professional should develop themselves.Secondly the application is also the place where the company can communicate and dictate what kind of contents is mandatory for their employees and how this is communicated to them. The application is the tool that allows us to notify users and keep them engaged with the learning content.How does it fit within the Active Safety Training?The micro-learning is an integral part of AST to complete the learning domains. VR trains mostly awareness, and AR takes the on demand aspects of knowledge. Micro-learning, or the Activities, focus on learning the user routines, desired safety behaviour, and knowledge. It is also the place where all the data is aggregated to combine into a full overview of a user’s progression.
